Brisbane Backpackers Resort is the first Hostel in Australia with Capsule Beds. We are the first building in Queensland to have Capsule beds and this only adds to our great accommodation and facilities on offer.
What are Capsule Beds
Capsule Beds are the next step up from Hostels/Backpackers. Capsule Hotels started in Japan and are slowly making their way around the world. Usually these Hotels have limited facilities, if any, and are made for quick overnight stays.
Hostels/Backpackers are known for guests sharing rooms and facilities and socialising. Most Backpackers travel for months or years at a time and usually work while travelling instead of the normal holiday of 1-3 weeks.
We have combined these two to make Brisbane Backpackers Resort (BBR) the first Hostel in Australia with these beds. BBR has the most facilities in Brisbane so these beds added to our facilities like a Pool, Heated Spa, Ping Pong, Pool Table*, Communal Kitchen, Commercial Laundry*, Sports Court (good for Tennis, Basketball, Soccer) makes it a diverse and social place to stay.
